Dr. Sylvain Brousseau is a doctor of nursing sciences and nurse administration. He received his baccalaureate in nursing from the University of Ottowa and his masters in nursing from the University of Montreal. In 2015 he finished his doctorate at the University of Montreal. His Ph.D. research concerned the effect of a quality work-life balance on nursing managers. He served as a board member of the Quebec Board of Nurses from 2006-2008. In 2005, he was elected to serve on as chair of the Quebec Nurses Association. In 2020, Dr. Brousseau was elected as the president of the Canadian Nurses Association. Dr. Brousseau also serves as an associate professor at the University du Quebec en Outaouais.
Dr. Tranise Goodlow is a board-certified cardiology nurse practitioner, adjunct professor, and owner of the nurse and nurse practitioner coaching corporation Dr. G the NP. Dr. Goodlow earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern University and A&M College and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a specialty as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of Arizona. Penny Daugherty is an Oncology Nurse Navigator at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. She received her bachelor’s in Nursing Sciences form Florida SouthWestern State College. She has a masters degree in science and Clinical Psychology from Olympic College. In the past, she has worked as a Clinical research Coordinator and Director of Clinical research for numerous different companies. In 2018, she became a member of the Astra Zeneca Lecture Bureau. Since 2010, Penny has worked as an Oncology Nurse Navigator at Northside Hospital, where she provides navigation services to oncology patients and education to nursing interns.
Renee Omoyeni is the Executive Director and Founder of CompassRN, a nonprofit organization which raises awareness of the nursing field to students who are underrepresented in the industry. She received her BSN in nursing from Bethune-Cookman University and her master’s in health education and promotion from Walden University. Michaela Popelková has been a nurse for over a decade. She earned a degree in general medicine in 2011 and a bachelor’s in general nursing in 2013 from Charles University in the Czech Republic. She worked in a social welfare department for war veterans as a nurse and a private urology clinic as an assistant chief physician, before climbing the ranks at Motol University Hospital to unit manager and charge nurse. She joined the European Cancer Nursing Society in 2018 and served as the Czech Republic representative on the Young Cancer Nurses Network. She relocated to the states and lives in North Carolina with her family, and continues to volunteer as co-chair of the Young Cancer Nurses Network as she pursues U.S. certification.
