Clara Magdaleon, RN: How implementing health education early can change outcomes

It’s tough NOT to smile listening to this interview. RN Clara Magdaleon took a winding path to nursing, but has found her place firmly in health advocacy, education, and leadership. Clara overflows with passion, and an infectious optimism about the power nurses have to affect change in their communities. As a bilingual school nurse, elected school board member, fitness enthusiast, and budding movement-builder, we’d say Clara represents something pretty special: the next generation of nursing.
